How much does a camera inspection cost?
A flat, firm price quoted when you call, and it is credited toward the repair if the footage leads to one. No percentage games, no surprise add-ons for the locator.
Do I get a copy of the footage?
Yes, every time. It is your pipe. Home buyers use it in negotiations, landlords keep it as a condition record, and nobody should have to take a plumber’s word for what is underground.
Can the camera find where the line runs?
Yes. The head carries a beacon we trace from the surface, mapping the line’s path and depth across the property. Useful before you pour concrete, plant trees, or plan an addition.
Should I get a sewer scope before buying a home?
Always, and especially on anything built before the eighties. A lateral replacement can cost more than the inspection by a factor of a hundred. We can usually scope within the inspection contingency window, call us early.
Will the camera work if the line is backed up?
We usually need to clear the blockage first so the lens can see. A cabling plus camera visit is the standard combination and gets quoted as one firm number.
