Victorville plumbing, done correct the first time.
CH Plumbing Services is Carlos Hernandez’s shop. He built it on one rule: fix it right on the first visit, so nobody pays twice for the same problem. Water heaters, repipes, drains, gas lines, and whole-house filtration across the High Desert. Open 24 hours, Monday through Saturday.

Plumbing services for the High Desert
Residential and commercial, small repairs to full system installs. Everything below rides on our trucks every day, and every job ends the same way: tested, cleaned up, and priced at the number we gave you before we started.
Water heaters, tank and tankless
Repair, replacement, installation, and annual service, with A.O. Smith certification behind the work. Call in the morning and most swaps happen the same day. One customer called at breakfast and had hot water again by dinner, old unit hauled off, garage swept.
We size the unit to the house instead of matching whatever was there, strap it to code, and check the flue and gas connection before we call it finished. If your current heater is limping along at year 15, we will tell you honestly whether it needs replacing or just a part.

Whole-house repipe
Old galvanized lines rob your pressure and leak inside walls where you cannot see it. We repipe in copper and PEX, replace failing pressure regulators, and pressure-test the whole system before we close anything up. Water lines and gas lines both.
A repipe is the job where corner-cutting hides best, which is exactly why we do not cut them. You get clear water, quiet pipes, and pressure that stays put.

Drains and camera inspections
Anyone can snake a clog. Finding out why it keeps coming back takes a camera. We scope the line, show you the footage on the spot, and clear the actual cause. If the problem is roots or a bellied section of pipe, you will know exactly where it is before anyone talks about digging.

Gas lines
New runs for ranges, dryers, fire pits, and generators, plus leak checks and repairs on existing lines. Every joint gets tested before the meter goes back on. Gas is the one trade where “close enough” does not exist, and we treat it that way on every single connection.

Water filtration and softeners
High Desert water is hard, and it shows up in scaled fixtures, short-lived appliances, and dry skin. We install and service whole-house filtration and softener systems through Impact Water Solutions, matched to what is actually in your water rather than a one-size sales package. Cleaner water at every tap, and your water heater lasts longer too.

Shower and bathtub enclosures
When a bathroom is due for better, we set new tub and shower enclosures, surrounds, valves, and trim, and we handle the plumbing behind the wall while it is open. The photo is a tub surround we set in a High Desert home; the supply lines behind it got the same attention as the part you can see.
New valve where the old one was seized, clean caulk lines, drains that actually drain. If the tile guy is coming after us, we coordinate so the wall only opens once.

Everything else on the truck
If it moves water or gas, it rides on our truck.

Smart home leak detection
A smart shutoff valve watches your home’s water use around the clock and closes the main line the moment it sees a burst pipe or a slow hidden leak. We install the valve, configure it, and pair it with your phone before we leave the driveway.
For anyone who travels, owns a rental, or has already lived through one water damage claim, it is cheap insurance against a five-figure repair bill. Ask us about it on any visit.
Where service and integrity create a legacy
Carlos Hernandez started CH Plumbing in 2019 because he wanted the work done his way: correct on the first visit, explained in plain English, priced before the wrench comes out. Seven years in, the crew carries more than sixty years of combined plumbing experience, and the reviews keep naming the same two people, Carlos and Ruben, because those are the people who actually show up at your door.
We do not sell parts you do not need. Ruben has talked customers out of repairs other plumbers quoted them for. One reviewer wrote that he replaced a single valve after another company insisted the whole assembly had to go. That honesty costs us a few line items and wins us the customer for life, which is the whole business plan.
The certifications back the promise: Handle certified, A.O. Smith certified on water heaters, and an Impact Water Solutions partner on filtration. Homeowners are most of the work, and landlords and small commercial buildings keep us on call for the same reason a Google reviewer recommended us “especially to landlords”: the fix holds, the paperwork is clean, and nobody calls twice about the same pipe.
We don’t come back to fix the same thing twice. It’s correct the first time.

How a job goes
Same rhythm on every call, whether it is a dripping faucet or a whole-house repipe.
You call, a plumber answers
Tell us what the water is doing. If it is an emergency, we walk you to the shutoff over the phone while a truck heads your way. No phone tree, no callback queue.
We look, then we price
On site, we diagnose the actual problem, show you what we found, and hand you a firm price before any work starts. The look costs you nothing, and the number does not move once you say go.
We fix it correct
Right parts, tested joints, code the whole way through. If a smaller repair does the job, that is what we recommend. Ruben has talked people out of work other plumbers quoted them for.
We prove it and clean up
You watch it work before we leave, the workspace goes back the way we found it, and the old parts leave on our truck. If the same fix ever fails, the return trip is on us.

Fifty miles out from Victorville
Home base is Victorville, 92395. The trucks run a fifty-mile radius across the High Desert, up the mountain, and down the Cajon Pass into the Inland Empire, across the 138 to the Antelope Valley, five counties covered from one shop. Every city links to its own page, and the full map lives here:
A note for the mountain end of the map
Up at Wrightwood and Phelan elevations, hard freezes split pipes most winters. If you are above the snow line, ask about insulating exposed runs before December. If a pipe has already gone, we thaw it and repair it properly instead of patching over the burst.

Straight answers first
Can you really replace a water heater the same day?
Usually, yes. Call in the morning and in most cases the new unit is heating water by evening, the old one hauled away. We stock common tank sizes and keep A.O. Smith units on quick order. Tankless conversions take a little longer because of venting and gas line sizing, and we will tell you that up front.
Do you charge just to come out and look?
The look costs you nothing, and the firm price we give you before work starts is the price you pay. No surprise line items, no “while we were in there” additions. We accept all major credit cards and offer financing on larger projects like repipes and filtration systems.
Tank or tankless, which should I buy?
Depends on the house. Tankless gives you endless hot water and frees up garage space, but costs more up front and needs the right gas supply. A quality tank unit is cheaper to install and simpler to service. We walk you through both against your usage and only then put a number on each option.
What does smart leak detection actually do?
A monitored shutoff valve sits on your main water line and learns your normal usage. When it sees something wrong, a burst line, a running toilet, a slow drip inside a wall, it shuts the water off automatically and alerts your phone. We install it, set it up, and show you how it works before we leave.
Are you licensed and certified?
Yes. We are Handle certified, A.O. Smith certified for water heater work, and an Impact Water Solutions partner for filtration systems. Every tech on the truck works under those standards, and the combined crew brings over sixty years of plumbing experience to your door.
Do you take emergency calls at night?
We are open 24 hours, Monday through Saturday. A burst pipe at 2 a.m. gets answered the same as a scheduled Tuesday appointment. If water is running where it should not be, close your main shutoff if you can find it and call us on the way.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We accept all major credit cards, and financing is available on larger projects like repipes, water heater replacements, and whole-house filtration systems. Ask when you call and we lay the options out next to the firm price so you can decide with real numbers.
Do you work on commercial buildings?
Yes. Restaurants, offices, and rental properties across the High Desert. Grease trap installation, backflow, code corrections, and water heaters sized for the actual load. We schedule around your business hours and keep the disruption short.
How fast can you actually get here?
In town, often the same day, and 24 hours a day Monday through Saturday for emergencies. Victorville, Hesperia, and Apple Valley are minutes out. The mountain communities and the far end of the Cajon Pass get honest arrival windows, not wishful ones.
Talk to a plumber, not a call center
Tell us what the water is doing and we will tell you what it takes to fix it, with a firm price before any work starts. Ruben or Carlos answers, not a dispatcher reading a script.
The phone is fastest, day or night. If it is not urgent, the form works too; we call or text back fast, usually the same day.
