Hydro Jetting

Victorville, CA · Mon to Sat: Open 24 Hours(877) 233-1033

Hydro jetting, the deep clean a cable cannot do

A cable pokes a hole. A jetter scours the pipe back to bare wall, cutting grease, sludge, sand, and roots off the full circumference and washing it all downstream. When a line has years of buildup, this is the reset button.

What jetting actually does

The jetter drives a specialized nozzle down the line on a high-pressure hose. Rear-facing jets pull the hose forward and scour the pipe walls behind it, and forward jets cut through the blockage ahead. The result is a pipe that carries its full designed capacity again instead of squeezing water through a fist-sized channel in the sludge.

It is the right tool for grease-choked kitchen lines, root-invaded yard laterals, and mains that have been limping along on yearly cablings. It is the wrong tool for a pipe that is structurally broken, which is why we camera first and jet second. Water at this pressure deserves respect and a diagnosis.

How the job goes

1

Tell us what the water is doing

Backing up, gurgling, or smelling: the symptom picks the tooling. If sewage is rising, we walk you through damage control while a truck heads out.

2

Camera and diagnose

We clear the immediate blockage, then look at why it happened. Repeat problems get the camera so the cause is on screen, not in theory.

3

Firm price, then the fix

You see what we found and the number to fix it before work starts. Cabling, jetting, or repair, the price does not move once you say go.

4

Prove it and clean up

Water runs at volume, the camera confirms where it matters, and the workspace goes back the way we found it. If the same fix fails, the return trip is on us.

When we recommend it, and when we do not

If your drain clogs once and clears easily, you do not need jetting and we will not sell it to you. If the camera shows heavy grease, scale, or roots along a long run, jetting is honestly cheaper than the slow-motion failure you are living with. We show you the before footage, quote a firm price, and show you the after footage when the line is clean.

Jetting also preps a pipe for lining work, where the pipe walls have to be spotless for the liner to bond.

From the High Desert down to the Inland Empire

Desert sand migrates into every yard line that has a joint gap anywhere in it, and High Desert kitchens set grease hard in cold garages and crawl spaces every winter. Jetting handles both, which is why our jetter rarely gets a week off.

Open 24 hours, Monday to Saturday

Sewage backing up into a tub or a gas smell in the garage does not get a voicemail. Call any hour from Monday through Saturday and a plumber answers and gets someone rolling while you are still on the line. The overnight repair is held to the same standard as a daytime one.

Everything gets tested before we leave, so you are not calling back about the same thing next week.

“The team at CH Plumbing are efficient, professional, on time, and we appreciate their hardwork. We use them often for our home plumbing issues. We highly recommend them!”

Before you even call

Is hydro jetting safe for older pipes?

That is exactly why we camera the line first. Sound cast iron, clay, ABS, and PVC take jetting well. A pipe that is cracked or collapsing does not, and if that is what the camera shows, you need a repair, and we tell you so instead of jetting a broken line.

How is jetting different from snaking?

A snake bores a hole through the clog and leaves the buildup on the walls. Jetting removes the buildup itself, wall to wall, the whole run. Snaking treats the symptom. Jetting resets the pipe.

How long does the clean last?

On a grease line, years instead of months. On roots, until the roots regrow through whatever opening let them in, which is why we point out the entry crack and price the permanent fix while the camera is down there.

What does it cost?

It depends on pipe length, access, and how bad the buildup is, so we quote it after the camera look, as one firm number. You will know the price before the jetter comes off the truck.

Can jetting clear roots?

Yes, a root-cutting nozzle shears them off at the pipe wall and flushes them out. Understand it is a strong haircut, not a cure. The roots came in through a defect, and we will show you exactly where.
