Arsenic Water Filtration

Arsenic water filtration for desert wells that test hot

Arsenic occurs naturally in desert groundwater, tasteless, odorless, and only a lab test ever finds it. If your well tests above the federal limit, treatment is not optional, and we install the systems that bring it to zero-detect.

The desert problem nobody can taste

Arsenic leaches into groundwater from the rock formations under the Mojave, and wells across the High Desert basin test across a wide range, some clean, some multiples of the legal limit, sometimes on the same road. There is no taste, no smell, and no symptom until years of exposure have done their work, which is why the well-owner’s rule is simple: test, do not guess.

Treatment is proven and reliable: adsorption media systems for whole-house protection, sized to your flow and your tested arsenic species, or point-of-use reverse osmosis where protecting the drinking taps is the priority. We design from the lab numbers, install clean, and retest to prove the result.

How the job goes

1

Test the actual water

At your taps, with lab panels where stakes are high. The numbers drive everything that follows, never a brochure.

2

Design the treatment train

Sediment, carbon, softening, RO, or specialty stages, only what your water argues for, with honest annual costs attached.

3

Install to be serviced

Bypass loops, isolation valves, and labeled stages, so every future filter change takes minutes instead of a service call.

4

Retest and prove it

Post-install numbers in your hand, and a maintenance schedule that keeps them true. Treatment without proof is faith.

Whole house or point of use, honestly compared

Whole-house adsorption protects every tap and appliance and asks for media changes on a schedule the test results predict. Point-of-use reverse osmosis protects where you drink and cook for less money, and for many households that is the rational start. We lay out both with real lifetime costs, and the honest answer depends on your numbers, your household, and your budget.

Every arsenic install ends with a post-treatment lab test in your hand, zero-detect or we are not done. That is what proof looks like in this business.

From the High Desert down to the Inland Empire

State well surveys have flagged arsenic across the Mojave basin for decades, and the rural wells around Phelan, Baldy Mesa, Barstow, and Twentynine Palms deserve a test on principle. One lab visit settles years of wondering, and treatment is a solved problem when the number comes back high.

Open 24 hours, Monday to Saturday

Water does not wait for business hours and neither do we. A burst line at 2 a.m. gets a real plumber on the phone, not a callback queue. We walk you to the shutoff while a truck heads your way, then fix it properly instead of patching over the symptom.

We don’t come back to fix the same thing twice. It’s correct the first time.

“My technician Ruben arrived on time. He did a wonderful job. I recommend your services to everyone, keep up the good work!!”

Before you even call

How do I know if my well has arsenic?

Only a lab test tells you, there is no taste, color, or smell at any concentration that matters. We pull the sample properly, use a certified lab, and read the results with you. If you have never tested, that is the first move, and it is not expensive.

What level of arsenic is unsafe?

The federal drinking-water limit is 10 parts per billion, and desert wells can test well above it. Long-term exposure is the concern, so a high test is a fix-this-season problem, not a panic, and the treatment options are mature.

Which treatment actually removes arsenic?

Adsorption media systems and reverse osmosis both do, properly specified, standard carbon filters and softeners do not. Species and concentration from the lab report drive the design, which is why we test before we quote.

How do I know the system is working?

Because we retest after installation and hand you the lab result, and then on the maintenance schedule the media life predicts. Arsenic treatment without follow-up testing is faith, and this deserves better than faith.

Does city water here have arsenic too?

City systems are required to treat to the federal limit and publish their numbers, so city customers are covered by regulation. This page is for the thousands of private wells out here, where the homeowner is the water district.

Talk to a plumber, not a call center

Ruben or Carlos answers, walks through what the water is doing, and gives you a firm price before any work starts. Open 24 hours, Monday through Saturday.
