The drain that clears, then closes again by spring
If your kitchen line has been cleared twice and is slowing a third time, the buildup was never removed, only punctured. We look with a camera first, then decide what the line needs.

A cable clears the symptom, water clears the line
Picture a two inch kitchen line with half of it still open, because grease and mineral have coated the walls. A cable opens a hole through that. The sink drains and everyone is satisfied, but the pipe is still mostly closed, and a few months of cooking shuts it again.
Jetting works the other direction. A nozzle throws water backward against the pipe wall, cutting the buildup loose and flushing it downstream while the hose pulls itself through. What comes back is a pipe at its built diameter.
In Adelanto’s newer kitchens two things build up together: grease cools and clings, and hard water leaves scale that gives it a rough surface to hold. A cable leaves both in place.
Camera first, water second
We do not put pressurized water into a pipe we have not seen. The camera goes in first, every time, and it answers the questions that decide the job.
What is in there
Grease, scale, sand and roots each look different on camera and want a different nozzle. Guessing the blockage means guessing the tool.
Whether the pipe is sound
A cracked, bellied or crushed line is not a candidate for jetting. Finding that out with a camera is cheap. Finding out with water is not.
What it looks like after
After the jet, the camera goes back down the cleaned pipe, so you see the wall you paid to have cleared.
Long runs on the older core and the parcels
Past the new tracts the story changes. The older part of town and the open parcels beyond it run long drain lines through sand.
Sediment staging in the low spots
A long run rarely falls at a perfect grade. Where it flattens, solids settle and sand settles with them. Those low spots are where the line closes first, and they are exactly what a camera finds.
What water will not fix, and when you hear it
Jetting cleans pipe. It does not repair it. A break, a belly holding standing water or a crushed section stays broken under any pressure, and a plumber who jets it anyway has sold you a service you will need again.
We say so before anything starts, even when the honest answer is a repair instead of the cleaning you called about. The rest of what we do in Adelanto runs the same way: you see the problem, then you get a firm price.
Keeping it open without a subscription
We do not sell maintenance plans. What keeps a cleared line clear is unglamorous: grease into a can instead of the drain and strainers in the sinks. On a commercial kitchen, the camera footage sets the cleaning interval better than a brochure does.
And if hard water is why buildup forms this fast, treating the water does more for your drains than any schedule of visits.

Drain questions we get from Adelanto
How is this different from snaking the drain?
A cable punches a hole through the blockage so water moves again. Jetting scours the pipe wall back to its full diameter. One buys you months, the other resets the line. Both have their place, and we will say which one your drain actually needs.
Why run a camera before jetting?
Because water at pressure belongs in a sound pipe. The camera shows whether we are looking at grease, scale, sand or a break, and it shows the slope. Skipping that step is how a plumber jets a cracked line and turns a clog into a dig.
Can you jet a restaurant or multi-unit line at night?
Yes. Commercial kitchens and shared laundry lines are usually best cleared off hours, and the phones are answered 24 hours Monday through Saturday. Tell us the closing time and we will build the visit around it.
What if jetting does not fix it?
Then the problem was never the buildup, and the camera will have already told us that. A broken, bellied or root-filled line needs a repair, not a cleaning. You hear that before the work, not on the invoice afterward.
Will jetting damage older drain lines?
Not when the pressure is set for the pipe in front of us, which is why we look first. Cast iron, clay and plastic each get their own nozzle and pressure, and a line the camera shows as cracked or bellied gets a repair conversation instead of a jet.
Let’s look in the line before anyone quotes you
Tell us which drain is slowing and how often it has been cleared. We bring the camera, show you what is in the pipe, and give you a firm price for the work it needs.
