Moving the laundry out of the garage, stacking it in a hall closet, or building the proper laundry room at last: we run the supplies, set the drain and vent, and put the connections where the machines actually need them.
The rough-in that laundry demands
A washer connection is simple until it floods: hot and cold supplies on a proper valve box, a standpipe at the right height with a trap and real venting, and a drain sized for a modern washer’s pump, which ejects water faster than old two-inch lines were ever asked to take. We build the connection to handle the machine you own and the one you will own next.
Recessed supply boxes with quarter-turn valves go in as standard, so shutting the washer off for vacation takes two seconds, and hammer arrestors quiet the valve-slam that modern machines produce by design.

Drain routes, venting, and capacity decide what a design can do. We flag the expensive moves while they still cost nothing.
Rough in precisely
Valves at finish depth, drains on slope, supplies secured. The finish trades build on our accuracy, so it has to be exact.
Test before walls close
Pressure on the supplies, flow on the drains, photos for your file. Nothing gets sealed in unproven.
Trim out and commission
Fixtures set, appliances connected, everything run while you watch. The punch list ends at zero.
Relocations and the details people forget
Moving laundry upstairs or into the hall closet is a favorite remodel, and it succeeds on details: a drain pan piped to a real drain, supply routing that survives the framing, venting that keeps the standpipe from gurgling, and dryer gas through our gas line work where gas is the choice. Second-floor laundry without a piped pan is a ceiling claim waiting on a hose.
We coordinate the electrical and venting trades so the room finishes as one project, and every connection is tested with a full wash cycle before we call it done.

Straight answers first
Can you move my laundry from the garage into the house?
Yes, it is one of our most requested relocations: supplies, drain, vent, and pan piped to code at the new spot, old connections retired properly. The drain route decides the cost, and we quote it firm after one look at the layout.
What is a laundry standpipe and why does height matter?
It is the vertical drain the washer hose hooks into, and its height and trap position are code-set so the washer neither siphons itself dry nor overflows mid-cycle. Wrong-height standpipes are behind half the mystery laundry floods we see.
Do I need a drain pan under an upstairs washer?
Emphatically, and it must be piped to an actual drain, a pan that just holds water is a delay, not a defense. Add a hammer arrestor and braided hoses and the upstairs laundry stops being a risk category.
Gas or electric dryer hookup, can you do both?
We run the gas side, line, valve, and leak test, and coordinate the electrical. If you are choosing, gas dries faster and cheaper here, and the line cost is modest when the laundry sits near existing gas.
My washer connection bangs the pipes every cycle. Fixable?
That is water hammer from the machine’s fast solenoid valves, and hammer arrestors at the connection absorb it completely. Quick install, quiet laundry, and your pipe joints stop taking the abuse.
