Faucet Repair

Faucet repair, the end of the drip

One drip per second is over three thousand gallons a year, most of it billed. We repair kitchen, bath, and utility faucets: cartridges, seats, seals, and the scale that desert water leaves behind in all of them.

What is inside a dripping faucet

Nearly every drip is a worn cartridge, seat, or seal, and hard water accelerates all three: minerals score the mating surfaces until they cannot quite close. We carry cartridges and rebuild kits for the major brands, pull the faucet apart cleanly, flush the scale out of the body, and rebuild it to factory feel. The handle stops fighting you, the drip stops entirely.

Squealing when you open the tap, a handle that keeps loosening, or water seeping at the base all have the same short list of causes, and none of them requires replacing a quality faucet.

How the job goes

1

Bring us the list

One fixture or five, a single visit covers it. Tell us the models involved and the right parts ride out on the truck.

2

Diagnose honestly

Rebuild or replace gets decided by the fixture’s bones, not by the biggest invoice. Plenty of visits end cheaper than the caller feared.

3

Install on sound connections

New supplies, working shutoffs, sealed drains. The connections behind the fixture matter more than the shine on it.

4

Run it while we watch

Full cycles, full flushes, dry floors confirmed. Old fixtures and packaging leave with us.

Repair versus replace, honestly

A solid-brass faucet from a real manufacturer is worth rebuilding almost indefinitely, parts exist and the body outlives us all. A builder-grade unit with plastic internals usually is not, and we will say so rather than bill you twice, once for a doomed repair and again for the replacement it needed anyway.

Low flow at one faucet is frequently just a scaled aerator, thirty seconds of honest work, and we would rather tell you that than invent a bigger job.

Local knowledge, Victorville out to the Pass

Desert hard water is the faucet killer here: scale jams cartridges and eats seals from Victorville to Corona years faster than the coast. Rebuilds with quality parts push back, and a softener changes the story entirely.

Honest scoping, in writing

Ruben has talked customers out of repairs other plumbers quoted them for. One reviewer wrote that he replaced a single valve after another company insisted the whole assembly had to go. You get a diagnosis you can see with your own eyes, a firm price before the wrench comes out, and a recommendation we would make to our own family.

We don’t come back to fix the same thing twice. It’s correct the first time.

“Ruben came out promptly, took the time to walk me through the current issues I was facing, and explained the different options available. He did an excellent job, hauled away the old unit and left the area spotless.”

Questions we actually get

Is a dripping faucet really worth a professional repair?

Do the math with us: thousands of gallons a year on the bill, plus the stain it etches into the sink. A rebuild is quick, priced firm, and usually costs less than people expect. Bundle other small fixes into the same visit and it gets even easier to justify.

Why does my faucet handle get harder to turn?

Scale. Hard water minerals build inside the cartridge until it grinds. A rebuild with a fresh cartridge and a cleaned body restores the original feel, and quality replacement parts hold up longer against the water up here.

Can you repair any brand?

The major brands, yes, we stock and source their cartridges and kits. Some imported no-name units have no parts supply at all, and with those we are honest that replacement is the only real fix.

Water comes out weak at one faucet only. Big problem?

Probably tiny: the aerator screen has caught scale and grit. We clean or replace it on the spot. If flow is still weak after that, the valve or supply line is scaling shut, still a modest fix caught early.

My faucet leaks under the sink, not at the spout. Same visit?

Yes, and do not wait on that one. Under-sink leaks soak cabinets and go moldy quietly. Whether it is the faucet body, supply connections, or the drain trap, we sort it in the same visit.

Open 24 hours, Monday through Saturday

Emergencies get answered by a plumber, not a queue. Scheduled work gets a window we actually hit. Either way, the fix holds.
