Sump Pump Installation

Victorville, CA · Mon to Sat: Open 24 Hours(877) 233-1033

Sump pump installation for the one wet night a year

Garages, basements, and low-set additions in this desert flood exactly once a year, and it is always at night. We install sump pits, pumps, and battery backups sized for monsoon bursts, tested with real water.

Before and after kitchen fixture replacement

More than a pump in a hole

A working sump setup is a chain: a properly sized pit that lets the float travel, a pump matched to the lift and inflow, a check valve so pumped water stays gone, and a discharge line that carries water genuinely away from the foundation instead of recycling it back down the wall. We install the whole chain, every link of it, and we finish with a live fill test you can watch.

Sizing follows the real numbers: how fast water arrives in your worst hour, how high it must lift, and how far it must travel. Guessing produces pumps that drown mid-storm.

How the job goes

1

Bring us the list

One fixture or five, a single visit covers it. Tell us the models involved and the right parts ride out on the truck.

2

Diagnose honestly

Rebuild or replace gets decided by the fixture’s bones, not by the biggest invoice. Plenty of visits end cheaper than the caller feared.

3

Install on sound connections

New supplies, working shutoffs, sealed drains. The connections behind the fixture matter more than the shine on it.

4

Run it while we watch

Full cycles, full flushes, dry floors confirmed. Old fixtures and packaging leave with us.

Backup power, alarms, and monitoring

The storm that fills your pit is the storm that kills your power, so serious installs get a battery backup pump plumbed alongside the primary. High-water alarms and smart monitors add a phone alert while there is still time to act. For rentals and vacation properties, we pair the pit with the same smart shutoff thinking as our leak detection work, water problems should announce themselves.

Every install ends with the discharge checked at full flow, because a pump that moves water into a clogged line is theater.

Local knowledge, Victorville out to the Pass

Monsoon cells over the High Desert drop an inch in an hour onto ground too hard to drink it, and the runoff finds sunken garages and basement conversions from Apple Valley to Colton. If your space took water last August, this is the calm-season fix.

Honest scoping, in writing

Ruben has talked customers out of repairs other plumbers quoted them for. One reviewer wrote that he replaced a single valve after another company insisted the whole assembly had to go. You get a diagnosis you can see with your own eyes, a firm price before the wrench comes out, and a recommendation we would make to our own family.

We don’t come back to fix the same thing twice. It’s correct the first time.

“Ruben is very honest and told us we only need to replace the RPV but not the ball valve as other plumber suggested. He did a great job.”

Questions we actually get

Do desert homes really need sump pumps?

The ones that sit low do, monsoon bursts overwhelm hard-baked ground instantly and the runoff obeys gravity. If your garage, basement, or sunken room has taken water even once, the yearly odds are not in your favor.

What size pump do I need?

Sized to inflow rate, lift height, and discharge length, not to whatever the store had on sale. Oversizing causes short cycling; undersizing loses the race mid-storm. We calculate it from your actual pit and layout.

Is a battery backup worth the cost?

It is the most valuable part of the system in storm country, because power failure and peak inflow arrive together. A backup that runs hours on battery covers exactly the window that matters.

Where should the discharge water go?

Well away from the foundation, onto ground that slopes away, and never into the sewer. A discharge that dumps beside the wall just sends the same water around the loop again. We route it properly as part of every install.

How long does installation take?

A pump swap in an existing pit is a couple of hours. A new pit with discharge routing is typically a day. Firm price and honest schedule before any concrete gets cut.

The look is free, the price is firm

We diagnose first and hand you the number before the wrench comes out. It does not move once you say go, and the work is correct the first time.
